Hollow plastic UV-resistant sheets are a type of sheet material made primarily of polypropylene (PP). Through an extrusion process, a hollow structure is formed, resulting in lightweight, UV-resistant, and environmentally friendly products. Its core applications include packaging materials, industrial mats, partitions, and liners. With customizable sizes and colors, it has become an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional sheet materials in both industrial and civilian sectors.
Material Characteristics and Structural Principles
This sheet uses PP polypropylene as its base material, forming a hollow sandwich structure through extrusion. The hollow design not only reduces the material's weight (density is only 1/3 to 1/2 of traditional sheets) but also enhances its heat insulation and cushioning performance through the air layer. Its UV-resistant properties stem from UV absorbers added to the raw material, effectively blocking UV penetration, slowing material aging, and extending its outdoor lifespan. Furthermore, PP material itself is odorless, non-toxic, and pollution-free, meeting food contact grade standards and can be directly used in food packaging.
Customization and Processing Technology
The sheets support multi-dimensional customization: width up to 2500mm, length unlimited, and wall thickness ranging from 2-8mm to meet the load-bearing requirements of various scenarios. Standard colors include white, black, blue, gray, and yellow, with custom color matching available. The processing technology includes two steps: extrusion molding and die-cutting. Extrusion ensures a uniform sheet structure, while die-cutting allows for precise cutting into specified shapes. Furthermore, logos or text can be printed on the sheet surface upon request, suitable for brand identification or product descriptions.
