After grating panel installation, checking these four steps will help you quickly complete the acceptance process, ensuring safety and peace of mind:

Appearance and Foundation Inspection

Overall flatness: Use a 2-meter straightedge to check; surface deviation should be ≤5mm.

Edges and surfaces: Edges should be smooth without burrs or sharp corners; the galvanized layer should be uniform, without any missed areas or bubbles.

Gap: The gap between adjacent panels should be uniform, with an error ≤3mm.

Structural Connection Firmness Inspection

Fasteners inspection:

Snap clips/bolts: Ensure they are installed correctly, with ≥2-3 exposed threads; use a wrench to check the torque (e.g., 8-12 N·m is recommended for M8 bolts).

Welding points: Weld length ≥10mm, free of porosity and cracks, and weld slag should be thoroughly cleaned.

Anti-loosening and corrosion prevention:

Anti-loosening: Check if spring washers or anti-loosening nuts are installed.

Corrosion Protection: Damaged areas of the hot-dip galvanized layer must be repaired with anti-rust paint.

Safety Performance Testing

Load Capacity Test:

Static Load Test: Apply 1.2 times the design load to the load-bearing area and maintain for 1 hour. Residual deformation should be ≤ 1/500 of the span.

Anti-slip Performance Test: Test the coefficient of friction in a simulated wet environment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
