When discussing kitchen and bathroom ceilings, PVC ceiling panels are a must-mention. This product was popular for a time before aluminum ceiling panels appeared, but it has now been gradually phased out.
PVC ceiling panels, simply put, are plastic panels. Like other plastic products, they are lightweight, inexpensive, susceptible to high temperatures, and prone to aging.
You can imagine that using PVC ceiling panels in a kitchen will likely result in yellowing and deformation after a few years, and they are also difficult to clean when stained with oil. Therefore, PVC ceiling panels are rarely chosen in home renovations.
Furthermore, the patterns on PVC ceiling panels often look somewhat dated. Therefore, I recommend choosing aluminum ceiling panels whenever possible.
